LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A pedestrian struck by a vehicle on an I-264 on-ramp Saturday has died from his injuries, Louisville Metro Police confirm.

The person was struck around 8 p.m. on Dec. 6 on the I-264 EB on-ramp at Taylor Blvd.

Police say the pedestrian was attempting to cross the on-ramp when he was struck by an unknown vehicle that fled the scene.

At this time, LMPD’s Traffic Unit is handling the investigation. They do not have the make of the vehicle.
