Syracuse University is launching a new program that will teach people how to grow weed and make edibles.
The College of Professional Studies is expanding its partnership with Green Flower , a cannabis education company, to offer courses on cannabis cultivation, cannabis retail and legal compliance. Green Flower has been offering cannabis courses for over a decade, said Chief Executive Officer Max Simon.
The continuing education programs last 8 to 16 weeks and are open to anyone over the age of 18, not just degree-seeking SU students. At the end, students will receive a certificate showing they completed the course.
