WHEELING, W.Va. — The West Virginia First Foundation has approved $18 million in the Momentum Initiative Grant Cycle.
Details on the grant amounts and recipients will be released once all required documentation is completed. The organizations will be notified by the end of the year.
WVFF Executive Director Jonathan Board said the organization’s model of handing out opioid settlement funds is becoming a national standard. The improvements also include lessons learned from their first grant cycle when $10.2 million was awarded to improve the MIG, Board said.
