Jesse Tyler Ferguson is opening up about the moment he and his Modern Family cast mates learned Robin Williams had died.

The 50-year-old actor, who played Mitchell Pritchett on the beloved ABC sitcom, spoke about that moment on the Dec. 9 episode of the Dinner's on Me with Jesse Tyler Ferguson podcast with guest Josh Hutcherson.

As Ferguson explained, he happened to be with one of Williams' old co-stars: Nathan Lane, who had a recurring role on Modern Family as Pepper Saltzman.
