MIFFLINBURG — A Buffalo Township man accused of stabbing his tenant in the chest and arm last week is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Jan. 13.

Robert David Kitchens, 68, of Route 192, Buffalo Township, was released from WellSpan Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg following a medical episode on the day of his arrest and immediately arraigned Monday in front of Mifflinburg District Judge Jeffrey Mensch. He was committed in lieu of $300,000 cash bail to Union County Jail, where he remains as an inmate.

Kitchens is scheduled to appear before Mifflinburg District Judge Jeffrey Mensch at 11:45 a.m. Jan 13.
