Sherrone Moore was allegedly “suicidal” and wielding a knife shortly after he was fired as Michigan head football coach Wednesday, according to dispatch and police audio obtained by TMZ.com. The audio clip, published Thursday afternoon by TMZ and obtained from Broadcastify.com, was under a minute, and included multiple dispatch and police clips that were spliced together.

The Detroit News has requested the dispatch audio through the Freedom of Information Act.

Moore remained in the Washtenaw County jail Thursday, awaiting a decision on charges by Washtenaw County prosecutors. Police said Thursday he is expected to appear in court and be arraigned Friday in Ann Arbor.
