DALLAS — The Dallas Police Department is investigating after a victim was found shot dead Thursday afternoon in South Dallas, officials say.
According to police, officers were called about the shooting at about 3:05 p.m. in the 2400 block of Meyers Street.
Upon arrival, police say they found the victim shot. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded as well. The victim died.
The investigation is ongoing, police say.
