GRANITE CITY, Ill. (First Alert 4) - A pretrial release was denied for the suspect accused of shooting a Granite City police officer.
DJ Marshall, 26, is charged with one count each of attempted murder with intent to kill or injure, aggravated battery, possession of a firearm by a repeat felon, and a felon in possession of a weapon.
Marshall is accused of shooting Officer Tyler Timmons in the 2000 block of Johnson Road on December 5. Officials stated that Timmons is expected to make a full recovery.
