WITH the second extension in deadline of enumeration of electors under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign from December 11 to 14 to submit forms and December 19 for draft roll to be published from earlier deadline of December 16, the Gujarat authorities claimed that this will give ‘additional’ time to find the ‘untraceable’ voters.

On Thursday, the data shared by the office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) stated that all 33 districts of the state have completed 100 per cent of the enumeration work. Thus, 100 per cent of the verification work has been completed in a total of 182 assembly constituencies of the state.
