DUNKLIN COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - A man was sentenced to 30 years in prison for the 2024 murder of a man in a nursing home.

Christian Ault, 30, was sentenced for murdering Jeffery Pendergrass in Senath, Mo.

According to the Dunklin County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Ault and Pendergrass were residents at Reliant Care Management’s Senath South Health Care Center where the murder took place.

On July 13, 2024, Senath police officers responded to Senath South Care Center for a reported assault and found the victim seriously hurt.
