The Quinn Hughes trade rumor mill refuses to slow down , and it has gained another layer after a fresh round of speculation from veteran insider Elliotte Friedman. Speaking on The FAN Hockey Show, Friedman revisited the growing debate around whether the Vancouver Canucks would ever entertain moving their captain, and more importantly, which teams realistically make sense if they did.
Friedman earlier reported that the New Jersey Devils and Detroit Red Wings have already made contact with the Canucks regarding Hughes’ availability. The veteran insider believes Detroit has better center options to offer the Canucks, who are in desperate need of help down the middle. He once again stressed that if Vancouver decided to trade Hughes, the majority of serious offers would come from the East.
