ROBERTSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) - A former community corrections officer in Robertson County has been accused of having ‘inappropriate contact’ with a probationer, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI).
TBI began investigating allegations of misconduct against Brian Hawkins, 53, on Dec. 3 at the request of 19th Judicial District Attorney General Robert Nash.
At the time of the investigation, Hawkins was working as a community corrections officer with Montgomery Robertson Community Corrections.
The TBI said its investigation revealed that Hawkins allegedly had inappropriate contact with a probationer.
Hawkins was indicted Wednesday on two counts of sexual battery by an authority figure and one count of official misconduct by the Robertson County Grand Jury.
