JAMMU, Dec 11: The Jammu District Hockey Championship 2025, organized by Hockey J&K commenced at KK Hakku Hockey Stadium, here today witnessing thrilling contests and high-octane performances.

On the opening day, three matches were played. In the first match, Guru Nanak Hockey Club (GNN HC) defeated Shaheed Bhagat Singh HC by 8-0. Tejpal Singh scored twice (4th & 34th minutes), Gurpreet Singh added two goals (19th & 47th), Deepak scored in the 10th and 49th minutes, while Gagandeep Singh netted in the 7th minute.

The second match saw Badhu Rakh HC outclass MBS Club Simble Camp by 5-2. Taranjeet Singh scored twice (22nd & 59th minutes), with Rohit, Kirandeep and Sunil adding one goal each. MBS HC’s goals came from Jaswinder Singh and Prabhjot Singh (33rd &
