COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Tinnes family said it has been an emotional and heartbreaking few days as they struggle to make sense of an unimaginable loss.
Family members say they are holding tightly to memories of Corey Tinnes and the love and light he brought into every room.
Corey died after a crash involving a Columbus police cruiser on Dec. 7.
“I just can’t imagine what he went through in the last moments,” Grayson said.
She described Corey as someone who “would light up a room,” adding, “his hugs — there’s no replacing those hugs. They are full of love.”
After seeing video of the crash, Grayson said she has been overwhelmed.
“I’ve been through every emotion imaginable, but all I can think about is I just want my baby back… He was momma’s boy,” she said.
