POCATELLO — Idaho State University President Robert Wagner addressed an audience of business and community leaders Wednesday morning at the ICCU Alumni Center, detailing incoming budget shortfalls, a new 10-point "Idaho contract" and the need for a publicly controlled medical school.
Wagner first outlined ISU's enrollment growth and rising retention rates. He said the 6.64 percent fall enrollment increase is the largest of any public institution in Idaho, leapfrogging the University of Idaho.
