Officials with U.S. Immigration Customs Enforcement were stationed Thursday near the DeConcini Port of Entry in a pedestrian area travelers use to cross into Mexico.
Some travelers took to social media in the morning and throughout the afternoon stating that ICE officials also were present at the Mariposa Port of Entry. According posts on a few local Facebook groups, people said ICE officials were asking for documentation, taking photos and asking extensive questions. ×
