Three out of four Americans say they’re under pressure because of holiday spending, according to a recent survey. Some say they feel lingering stress from the recent government shutdown, too. It can create a sense of income instability during a time when demand for spending typically spikes and can add a layer of anxiety for households trying to plan holiday budgets.
