A "high level drug dealer" utilised a fake removals company as cover and smothered his shipments in Vicks vapour rub while exporting wholesale quantities of cannabis. Carl Aldridge also plotted to trade in huge quantities of heroin, cocaine and ketamine via encrypted communications platform EncroChat.

His prolific activities led to one contact, known as "Mr Kipling", to label him a "proper ket dealer". He went on to spend around five years as a wanted man until he ultimately handed himself in at a police station.
