ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A former metro area daycare employee was sentenced to 30 years in prison on Thursday.

Christopher Titus, 46, was sentenced by Judge Joseph A. Rathert after pleading guilty to two felony counts of statutory sodomy or attempted statutory sodomy and three felony counts of 2nd-degree child molestation.

Titus was working at Here We Grow Early Care and Education in Webster Groves and was accused of molesting three children under the age of 12.

First Alert 4 had previously reported, Titus admitted to the crime when questioned by police, but previously had entered a plea of not guilty until Thursday.
