The Department of Homeland Security said more than 10,000 people have been arrested in Los Angeles since immigration raids began in June.
Federal agents continue to make arrests. Since immigration raids began, arrest numbers have fluctuated, and even slowed at times, after court challenges.
Information from TRAC , a data project from Syracuse University, shows 7,000 people were arrested in L.A. from June through September. The project gathers DHS arrest numbers obtained through the Freedom of Information Act.
The project doesn't have data for October, November or December. However, based on the information, 10,000 arrests would be on par with the rest of the year.
