TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Ring-a-ling hear them ring, it’s Christmas time in Tallahassee!
Once again, WCTV hosted its annual holiday tradition, our 12th annual Red Kettle Takeover Day.
From 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, members of the WCTV team collected donations for the Salvation Army of Tallahassee at Walmart off Thomasville Road in Tallahassee.
The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle campaign is the organization’s largest annual fundraiser. The money, raised during the kettle season, will fund programs to help families in Leon, Gadsden and Wakulla counties throughout 2026.
If you would still like to donate, visit the virtual Red Kettle page on WCTV’s website, where you can donate until midnight Thursday.
In the past eleven years, this one-day fundraiser has helped raise more than $61
