Bringing festive cheer to travellers, the Railways has announced 38 special train services for the Christmas–New Year season.

Kerala stands to benefit notably, with five dedicated services connecting the state to major cities across the country.

The newly announced routes are Nizamuddin–Thiruvananthapuram, Bengaluru–Thiruvananthapuram, Hubballi–Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam–Bengaluru and Ernakulam–Vadodara—offering welcome relief to passengers during the peak travel period.

Union Minister of State George Kurian expressed his appreciation to the Railway Minister for approving these services, describing them as timely support for Kerala-bound travellers.
