YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — The Ohio Attorney General's Office says 13 men have been arrested as a result of a multi-week human trafficking sting in the Greater Youngstown region, with those charged including two men from the Akron-Canton area as well as a pair of foreign nationals and even a Columbiana County surgeon.
The Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force headed up the operation under the leadership of Mahoning County Sheriff Jerry Greene and members of various local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. The coordinated efforts saw officers engage in various undercover probes over the November and December months.
Among the most notable arrests were two people officials say were attempting to buy sex with minors. One of those men is 39-year-old Randy McCauley, of Canton ,
