ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — Several witnesses took the stand on Thursday in the murder trial of three men accused of shooting and killing an Atlanta teen.
Bre’asia Powell was shot at a graduation party outside of Benjamin E. Mays High School in 2023.
School officials said at the time that the gathering was not authorized.
Her mother, Necole Williams, was one of the witnesses Thursday and described the last couple of years as a nightmare.
“It’s been horrible for me and my family,” Williams said.
Another teen was also shot in the back that night and testified on Thursday.
That teen said he didn’t know Powell or any of the accused shooters.
Tsenre Mosley, Jaquan Withers and Willie Dennis are all on trial.
