BUFFALO – Three games, three resounding wins for Buffalo’s girls basketball team.

The host Bison upended Putnam County rival Poca 66-27 on Thursday night.

In three outings this season, Buffalo has prevailed by margins of 16 points (Sissonville), 43 (Clay County) and now 39 (the Dots).

Brooke Woods led four Bison (3-0) in double figures in scoring with 15 points. Alyssa Grandbouche and Jocelyn Miller each tallied 14 points and Anna Boggess dropped in 11, to go along with 10 rebounds.

Cami Samples was a bucket away from double figures and also swiped six steals.

Chloe Wheeler paced Poca (1-3) with 10 points.

The Dots and Bison are scheduled to renew their county rivalry on Jan. 29 in Poca.
