DALLAS — Dallas police are investigating a shooting that killed one person and left another injured Thursday afternoon.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 15800 block of El Estado Drive at about 2:37 p.m. When they arrived, officers found two people who had been shot.
Dallas Fire-Rescue took both victims to a local hospital. In a statement, Dallas police said one person died from their injuries.
The victim has been identified by the Dallas Medical Examiner's Office as 24-year-old Arlina Sanders.
No arrest has been made as police say the investigation is ongoing.
