The Game Awards 2025 have come and gone, and the heavyweight favourite, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, did not disappoint. It went home with the most wins of the night, including some of the bigger awards like Best Art Direction, Best Score and Music, Best Narrative, Best Game Direction, and of course, Game of the Year.

Because Clair Obscur came into the show with 12 nominations (10 if you only count one of its three Best Performance nominations), and it won most of its categories, there weren't really other standout games. It was Clair Obscur's night, through and through, as it nearly swept The Game Awards, winning 9 out of 10 possible awards.
