HUMBLE, Texas – Humble Police Chief Dan Zientek has been placed on paid administrative leave after a closed-door meeting with the Humble City Council Thursday.
The Humble City Manager confirmed the news to 2 Investigates after the meeting Thursday night.
Thursday’s meeting came to light earlier this week as the city council placed it on its agenda as an item focused on a personnel matter.

The agenda item was addressed behind closed doors in private session by the five council members and the city manager. About 75 minutes into the meeting, they brough Chief Zientek in for approximately 35 minutes. Zientek then came back into the chambers before he was brought back in at around 9:15 p.m.
