JACKSONVILLE, Ark. — Parents at Bayou Meto Elementary are concerned with the delayed communication regarding a janitor accused of sexually assaulting students.

Harold Butchart is the custodian who is accused of sexually assaulting three girls at an elementary school during their lunch time.

Parents said they’re concerned about the lack of communication about the incident that was reported to the school on October 16th. Parents were not informed until December 5th.

Parents of one of the victims also spoke out about the incident, as well as the principal of the school, who has since resigned.

“My name is Nathan Cox, and I'm the father of the sexually assaulted,” Nathan Cox, a parent of one of the victims, said.
