The Hon’ble Union Minister of Home Affairs and Minister of Cooperation, Mr. Amit Shah, was accorded a warm welcome upon his arrival at the Veer Savarkar International Airport on 11th December.

Admiral D. K. Joshi, PVSM, AVSM, YSM, NM, VSM (Retd.), Hon’ble Lt. Governor of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Vice-Chairman of the Islands Development Agency, received the Union Minister at the airport. Also present to welcome him were Dr. Chandra Bhushan Kumar, Chief Secretary, A&N Administration; Mr. Hargobinder Singh Dhaliwal, DGP, A&N Islands; Mr. Prakash Adhikari, Adhyaksh, Zilla Parishad South Andaman; public representatives; senior officers of the Administration; and other dignitaries.
