Delhi has not seen its usual winter chill so far this December, as temperatures in the capital and surrounding National Capital Region remain above normal averages. Meteorological records for early December indicate that both maximum and minimum temperatures have stayed higher than expected, leaving many residents wondering about the absence of the season's cold wave.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has attributed these conditions to a lack of active western disturbances affecting the region.
