A new wellness experience tucked away in the countryside will open this weekend. The Hot Place, located at The Nest on Station Road in Thurstaston, will welcome visitors on Sunday, December 14 for its opening day. The Nest is a café and bar offering delicious food and drinks.

The site is home to a six-person horsebox wood-fired sauna , a cast-iron bathtub and an oak barrel which will be used as cold plungers and fitted with filtration system and purification systems, changing rooms and showers.

Friends and business partners, Steven Johnson and Connor Gargan, decided to "take the plunge" and set up The Hot Place after working on projects together previously.
