LAFAYETTE, Ind.(WLFI) — The Christmas holiday is approaching, and McAllister Recreation Center is offering several events to get you in the holiday spirit.

For last-minute shoppers, the center is hosting a "Holiday Drop and Shop" event on Thursday, October 23 from 5:30 to 9 p.m.

For $20 per child, parents can drop off their kids for dinner and activities while they shop.

On Saturday, October 25, Santa will be visiting the center for "Donuts with Santa."

Families can enjoy breakfast, professional photos, holiday crafts, and more from 9 to 11 a.m.

The cost is $20 per family.

Also on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the McAllister Market will feature 25 local vendors selling handmade goods.
