Benedictine football coach Danny Britt has his squad back in the GHSA state finals as the Cadets are set to play Creekside for the Class 4A state championship on Monday, Dec. 15, with kickoff set for 7 p.m. at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The Cadets will be playing for the fifth state crown in school history, and the previous four have all come in the 15 years since Britt took over the program in 2011. BC won Class 2A titles in 2014 and 2016, and then won back-to-back Class 4A championships in 2021 and 2022. The Cadets have never lost in the title game.
