Melissa Hortman tribute in House chamber will serve as rhetoric reminder for lawmakers

A display outside the Minnesota House of Representatives and at the late House DFL Leader Melissa Hortman’s desk cropped up in the wake of her assassination. Legislative leaders have decided it should remain as a reminder of the impact of political violence.
