Columbia restaurants in most cases addressed critical issues during their inspections in the last week.

Routine restaurant inspections happen two to three times per year based on priority and location of Columbia restaurants, Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services previously has said. Follow-up inspections happen if a critical violation is found. Restaurants usually can correct noncritical violations by the next routine inspection. Reports are from Dec. 2 through Monday, Dec. 8, unless otherwise noted.

Issues fixed the same day included discarding single-use items that were used more than once, adding a way to dry hands at handwashing sinks or adding date labels to food items.
