President Droupadi Murmu on Friday said that ensuring dignity, security and better growth opportunities for the tribal communities of Manipur, along with their increased participation in national progress, remains a national priority.
Addressing a public function in Senapati, the President also laid foundation stones and inaugurated several development projects in the district.
President Murmu said the central government is working closely with local leaders, civil society groups and communities to promote inclusive and sustainable development in Manipur, particularly in remote tribal regions.
