Kilmarnock boss Stuart Kettlewell admits he “lost the head” before being sent off during his side’s defeat to Rangers.

The Rugby Park club suffered a 3-0 home loss last weekend with a Bojan Miovski double and Mikey Moore strike securing all three points for Danny Rohl’s men.

Kettlewell believed his side should have been awarded a penalty and that Rangers goalkeeper Jack Butland should have been sent off for a separate incident.

He was angry that both calls went against his men and was shown a red card by the referee for his protests.

He has since been handed a one-game touchline ban over the incident.

And speaking to the media on Friday, ahead of Killie’s game at Aberdeen this weekend, he said: “We always speak about players ensuring that they show discipline and all the rest of it.
