OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - Mostly cloudy skies are likely to persist all day long helping to keep us colder. Highs in the upper 20s are likely and should happen early in the afternoon. Warmer 30s are possible to the southwest.

There will be north wind gusts up near 20 mph at times today helping to make it feel even colder. Wind chills should consistently be in the teens most of the day.

Later on tonight the clouds will thicken the temperatures will continue to fall off. Eventually some snow will move in from the northwest after 3am and we’ll start off Saturday with snow in the area. That and the cold are the reasons we’ve made Saturday a First Alert 6 Weather Day.
