Films Boutique has closed several additional territories with top independent distributors for Maryam Touzani ’s “Calle Malaga,” which is Morocco’s entry for the international feature film category of the Oscars.

The fresh sales deals follow the American Film Market and have been revealed ahead of the Oscar shortlist announcement.

The film, starring Carmen Maura , has recently closed in the following territories: Japan (Longride), Brazil (Imovision), Poland (Gutek Film), Argentina (Mirada Distribution), Baltics (A-One Films), Romania (Good Time Films) and Ex-Yugoslavia (MCF Megacom).

The North American release with Strand Releasing is set for February, and the film will be the opener at the Palm Springs Festival.
