One woman has been praised for stepping up to help an 'unwanted dog' who was likely dumped on the street by her previous owner because of mounting medical costs

An adorable pooch has been given a second chance at life thanks to a kindhearted stranger. A woman in her 20s shared how she came across a Pitbull cowering in the street - and believes the poor dog could have been out there without food and water for hours.

Rather than just driving on, she parked up to rescue the dog – not knowing how this simple action would change her life forever. In a TikTok video, she said: "One day while you're in your 20s you might find a sick dog dumped on the side of the road... It is very important that you take her home and give her the life she deserves."
