NEW DELHI: India has streamlined procedures to fast-track business visas for Chinese professionals, a significant move aimed at improving relations between the two powers and addressing long-standing delays that have cost billions in lost output due to a shortage of skilled technicians, Reuters reported on Friday. Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun noted the move as a "positive" one. Promoting the facilitation of personnel exchanges is in the common interests of all parties, and China is willing to maintain communication and consultation with India to continuously enhance the facilitation level of exchanges between the two countries, Global Times cited Guo saying.
