A Folcroft man is on trial this week before Common Pleas Court Judge Stephanie Klein on murder charges in the January 2024 shooting death of 22-year-old Terrence Murray.
As Assistant District Attorney Brian Denk laid out in opening statements, Rhashaun J. Freeman is accused of luring Murray to a supposed marijuana sale in Sharon Hill on the night of Jan. 29, 2024. Murray was instead shot once in the chest by another person who has not been charged and is not in custody.
The Daily Times is not identifying that person and is also complying with a gag order from Klein not to name the person who drove Murray to the meet-up that night.
Freeman, 25, of the 100 block of Primos Avenue, is charged with second- and third-degree murder, conspiracy and robbery for his alleged role in Murray’s death
