Four people were killed and eight injured in three crashes on Arkansas roads Dec. 5 and Sunday, according to preliminary police reports.

Around 3:26 p.m. on Dec. 5, Jaime Dieffenbacher, 43, of Batesville, was killed when her car was struck by another vehicle at Arkansas 104 and Arkansas 270 near White Hall, a report from the Arkansas State Police says.

Dieffenbacher was driving south on Arkansas 104 in a 2012 Chrysler 200 when she failed to stop at a stop sign and a 2021 Toyota 4Runner heading west on Arkansas 270 struck the driver's side of the Chrysler, the report says.

Madelyn Evans, 21, of White Hall, the Toyota's driver, and a minor who was riding in the Chrysler and was not identified in the report, were injured in the crash, the report says.
