Frank Lampard has been boosted by the return of Milan van Ewijk from illness when Coventry City get back to action at the CBS Arena against Bristol City on Saturday.
The Sky Blues ’ first choice right-back was forced to sit out at Preston North End in midweek, following last weekend’s match at Ipswich when midfielder Victor Torp was absent, also due to being ill.
The Dane recovered for the trip to Deepdale when he went on as a substitute in place of Josh Eccles, who limped off with a calf injury after half an hour. Elsewhere, Brandon Thomas-Asante is is out for several week with a hamstring strain, having sat out the last three matches.
Asked for a fitness and availability update, Lampard said: “Milan’s back with us. Brandon’s out and the rest, we’ll see tomorrow.”
