This is why Bay Harvey came back.
As he watched Johns Hopkins football reach last year’s NCAA Division III semifinals for the second time in school history while recovering from a knee injury, Harvey hungered for a chance to join his teammates. This fall, the No. 8 Blue Jays advanced to the quarterfinals, and the starting quarterback knows that he made the right decision.
“Part of the reason I came back was I thought I had more to give to this team and take us as far or further than we’ve ever been before,” he said. “So it’s very meaningful to be as far as we are, and now I’ve just got to keep taking care of business and keep this thing rolling. We have a great team with a lot of potential, and I want to be the contributing factor to that and not be the reason we ever lose.”
