SRINAGAR : Jammu and Kashmir is in the grip of an intensifying dry spell, with official data showing a seasonal rainfall deficit of 17 per cent from October 1 to December 10, 2025. Meteorological figures indicate that the Kashmir Division received an average of 64.5 mm of rainfall against a normal of 77.5 mm during the period under review.
