SANTA MONICA, Calif. (KABC) -- A driver in a BMW violently smashes into a printing shop overnight in Santa Monica, leaving the car crumpled in the middle of the street and a business owner with a massive mess.
It happened at Sir Speedy Printing and Marketing Services on the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Princeton Street. The driver apparently crashed into a support beam, causing major damage to the lower level of the building.
One person, believed to be the driver, was taken to the hospital in an unknown condition.
The printing shop owner spoke with Eyewitness News Friday morning and said she received a call from her alarm company shortly after 11 p.m. on Thursday.
When she got to the scene, her business was unrecognizable.
"We took good care of this place," said Rehana Jiwani
