King Charles is to give a personal message about his cancer on Friday, Dec. 12

The message, filmed at Clarence House in London a couple of weeks ago, will be broadcast during the Stand Up To Cancer charity telethon in the U.K.

Charles, 77, hopes the message will encourage more people to seek screening and support early detection efforts.
