The bank has scheduled early-morning maintenance windows that will temporarily suspend UPI payments for customers.
HDFC Bank customers have been advised to prepare for two planned service interruptions this month, as the bank carries out major system upgrades aimed at improving digital performance and transaction reliability. The bank has confirmed that UPI services will remain unavailable for four hours each on December 13 and December 21.
According to the advisory, the maintenance work will take place in the early hours of both days. The upgrade activity is scheduled from 2:30 am to 6:30 am, a period chosen to minimise disruption during peak usage.
